My publications include ‘Letters and Journals’ in Romanticism: An Oxford Guide, ed. by Nicholas Roe  (Oxford: OUP, 2004); ‘Everything a Poet Should Be: Elizabeth Bishop in her Letters’ a chapter in Elizabeth Bishop: Poet of the Periphery, ed. by Linda Anderson (Newcastle: Bloodaxe, 2002). I have also written for Notes and Queries, The Huntington Library Quarterly and The Keats Shelley Review.

Teaching is what I currently do to earn a living. Writing is what I do to feel alive (there are other things that help…) I am an essayist, amongst other things, and am interested in writing articles for both web and print media.
